Dr. Justin I. Chung

Justin I. Chung, DDS, MS is a prosthodontist, educator, and practice owner with extensive experience in advanced restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Chung earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency while serving in the United States Air Force. He subsequently completed his specialty training and Master of Science in Prosthodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, with additional surgical training.
He currently serves as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, where he is actively involved in clinical education, supervision, and mentorship of dental students and postgraduate trainees.
In addition to his academic appointment, Dr. Chung maintains a private prosthodontic practice in Fort Lee, New Jersey, with a clinical focus on complex restorative treatment, implant prosthodontics, full-mouth rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary care. He has also been actively involved in continuing dental education for more than a decade, serving as a course director and lecturer in implant dentistry.
Dr. Chung is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration Clinical Innovations Committee, contributing to the advancement and evaluation of emerging concepts and technologies in implant dentistry. His professional activities reflect a longstanding commitment to integrating evidence-based implant therapy, prosthodontics, clinical innovation, and education.
His professional background uniquely combines military dentistry, specialty prosthodontic training, private practice, implant education, research, and full-time academic dentistry. His clinical and educational interests include contemporary implant therapy, complex prosthodontic rehabilitation, digital and conventional treatment workflows, and predictable management of challenging restorative cases.
